ANNOUNCING A NEW PROGRAM OFFERING: The inaugural AACDP/AAP Joint Master Leadership Program. It is a one-year leadership development program with in-person workshops held in September and May to coincide with AACDP meetings. Virtual workshops begin in October and conclude in April. Participants must attend both in-person programs and a minimum of four (4) virtual sessions to qualify for a certificate of completion. A mentorship component is provided by current or former chairs of psychiatry. The program is designed to prepare faculty for roles as chairs, vice-chairs, assistant/associate deans. medical directors, and other leadership positions.
